Lindsay Harpham
Originally from Saskatchewan, Lindsay Harpham is an accomplished Contemporary Artist, Dance Educator, Choreographer, and Adjudicator based between Saskatchewan, and Vancouver, BC. Lindsay has trained in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, and Partnering and has completed her R.A.D teaching certification, and Bachelor of Kinesiology, which both greatly inform her teaching. Lindsay choreographs for both competitive and recreational studios throughout Canada and teaches master classes internationally for youth and adults.
Since graduation from training programs in Vancouver, and Toronto, she has worked with companies such as Red Sky Performance, Larchaud Dance Project, Gadfly, ACE DanceTheatre, Nimii Project, Hit and Run Productions, Nickelodeon, and Remai Modern. Grateful to have experienced professional dance tours throughout Canada, the United States, Europe, and Australia, she searches for opportunities that feel comparably inspiring. Amongst her most notable moments, CINARS opening, Australia Joint Dance Congress, performances with theToronto Symphony Orchestra, and Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, have expanded her perception of what is possible as an artist.
While pursuing professional dance, she graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology, which she combines with her dance experience through teaching injury prevention and cross-training seminars to dancers at SFU, Modus, and Source Dance Company. She currently works at the Performance Clinic at Ballet BC headquarters, working with dancers and other athletes. Lindsay most recently co-founded where we collective with fellow dancer and sister Denae Harpham, which runs a sleep-away dance camp in Saskatchewan for students and teachers. Lindsay brings her passion for art to each professional experience and hopes to always make a positive impact on the young aspiring artists she has the privilege of teaching and adjudicating.
Sherrier Scherger
Sherrie’s dance journey began in Alberta, training in her family owned studio. Now based inVancouver, BC, with 40 years as a dance educator and 30 years as an adjudicator, Sherrie continues to make an impact on studios and companies throughout Canada, the U.S, andEurope. Sherrie is a certified adjudicator with the Canadian Dance Leadership Institute, and a certified member of the Professional Adjudicators Alliance. Sherrie holds qualificationswith the RAD Ballet, ADAPT Jazz & Tap, and CDTA AcroDance. She furthered her education at Grant MacEwan College Dance Arts Program, where she studied modern, contemporarydance, kinesiology, anatomy, and music history.
Professional dance credits: principal dancer with Canadian renowned Decidedly Jazz Dance Company. She has also worked with D’ Hershey Modern Company, and Stone Soup Collective Contemporary Company, World of Dance Congress, Farrington Productions LasVegas & Japan, dance documentary "No Small Feats" with DJD and featured singer/dancerin“The Mix” revue show Macau, China.
Choreography credits: CTV’s “So You Think You Can Dance” assistant choreographer to Sean Cheesman (Canadian season).
Michael Jackson VH1 film “Man in the Mirror”, KimberlyWyatt (Pussycat dolls) VH1 Magicspecial, The Black Eyed Peas,(CFL) halftime show, Radio Disney and The Gemini Awards to name a few.
Professional theatrical credits: "The Boyfriend," "The Music Man," and "42nd Street." Choreography for Theatre: “Joseph and the Technicolor DreamCoat”, “Aladdin”, “Evangeline”, “Shakespeare in the Park” for Mount Royal Theatre Arts. “The Cherry Orchard” with United Theatre Players, “How To Succeed in Business” and “Damn Yankees” with Front Row Centre Players. Directed productions for BC Children’s Theatre “Cinderella” and “Jungle Book”,
Sherrie has earned numerous accolades, including the International Choreography Award, representing Canada.
Recently, she was featured on the podcast “Voice of the Artist” Navigating the complex world of Choreography, as well as Dancing Through it (YouTube), hosted by Leslie Kuny. Sherrie is committed to nurturing talent and sparking creativity with her motto: “Aspire to Inspire.” She challenges all the dancers to share their art with enthusiasm and authenticity.
